What is the time complexity of different sorting algorithms? Difference between HashMap and HashSet. Explain the concept of dynamic programming. Design a simple URL shortener system. What is Amazon's Leadership Principle that you relate to the most? Why Amazon? I solved the coding questions with optimized approaches and explained my thought process throughout. The interviewer gave hints when necessary and was interested in understanding how I approached problem-solving rather than just the final answer. The discussion on system design was basic and focused on scalability concepts. Overall, the interview was challenging but enjoyable.

Tips: Strong DSA preparation is essential. Practice medium-level LeetCode problems involving arrays, strings, linked lists, trees, and hash maps. Be ready to discuss your projects in depth, including architecture, challenges, and improvements. Also review Amazon Leadership Principles, as behavioral questions are often based on them.
